The Colosseum opens every day of the year except 25 December and 1 January. The key detail many people overlook: last admission is one hour before closing, so plan your visit with a margin, especially if you also want to see the Forum and the Palatine the same day. The €18 ticket is combined: with a single ticket you enter the Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheatre), the Roman Forum and the Palatine. It's valid for 24 hours and allows one entry to each site, so you can split the visit over two days. What it does not include:
